4th Annual Big Gun Run a Runaway Success

On May 1, 2022, Big Oyster Brewery, in support of Fort Miles Historical Association, was the host and primary sponsor of the 4th annual Big Gun Run.

This year’s 5K run started and finished at Big Oyster Brewery on Kings Highway in Lewes. A sumptuous buffet lunch and beer fest followed in the brewery’s beer garden and outdoor family area. Races2Run acted as the race organizer and did a great job!

FMHA also wishes to thank the FMHA Bunker Busters and Friends of Cape Henlopen State Park volunteers who directed the runners and manned the water table at mile 1.5, as well as the Lewes Police who manned the intersections.
