Fort Miles Historical Association held a D-Day remembrance to honor Delaware servicemen who perished during the June 6, 1944, landing at Normandy and in the two-month campaign that followed.
The program on June 4 was conducted by FMHA board member Will Short. Fellow board member Ed Paterline related the experience of the 29th Infantry Division on that monumental day in world history.
